I love how truthful you are!! This is so helpful! I like how you don't pretend everything is always clean, but you show us how to actually fix things. Like the grimy plug, and the brown stains around the sink edges, or even the bathroom video when you said that everyone knows the tiolet scrubber is used in the kitchen!! lol!! Yes, I do that! At least I have to in the meanwhile since I don't have a kitchen brush yet lol smh. Whhheeewww, glad I'm not the only one. Anyhow, thanks for being real and helpful :)

I love your videos, they get me motivated. The best thing I have found to clean is your favourite too, white vinegar, mixed 50% vinegar and 50% water. I add vinegar to my Fairy washing up liquid also. Since I have used this, I never get those horrible rust stains anymore. I use lemongrass essential oil to vinegar floor cleaning. It leaves a nice shine on my floor and smell. I just wish I had your self discipline to keep it up all the day.

Great Tips, just one thing that could be a problem is putting large pieces of citrus fruit down the garbage disposal, you shouldn't. You could zest the rinds but not put them or anything else like potato skins or cucumber peels down a garbage disposal. You could freeze juice from citrus into ice cubes, but plain ice or egg shells are best to run after the baking soda and vinegar steps. Happy Cleaning.

The thing you called a trap (at about 3:00) is a sink stopper. The sink trap is the curved or "P" shaped pipe that is attached under your sink. Because of it's shape, the trap always retains some water to create an air seal that prevents sewer gas from passing from the drain pipes back into the building.

Also, I use an old toothbrush to clean the crevices around the sink and faucet, it works great!!! Awesome, so many choices on how to clean your sink, the products used are all better than chemically induced products. I started using Vingar, Baking Soda, Hydrogen Peroxide, Lemon Juice in January (I haven't used Rubbing Alcohol, yet, but after watching your video I'm going to use it tonight)... I will never go back to all of the less productive, expensive chemical products, well, I still like to use Pine-Sol sometimes, mainly because I like the smell, it smells fresh and clean to me, something different from always using Lemon and Limes, I know Essential Oils are great also for cleaning and great smelling. Thanks!

Another easy way to clean a stainless sink is to use a Brillo pad and kind of go with the "grain". I've found Brillo to work the besst because it has (or used to have) jewelers polish in it - SOS or other brands don't seem to make it shine as well. And as a quick note, I have been using Brillo pads for at least 40 years and my sink still shines!

LOL thanks! OK, so you have a big build up of hair in your sink and that's why it is slow to drain. You need to extract that hair and then you'll see a huge difference. You need pliers or something that can remove the clog...it's gross but worth it.
