Probably the easiest recipe I have shared. Yes a few ingredients, but SO worth the effort to create a fantastic dish to share with family and friends. Siomia are gorgeous little dim sum dumplings and when dipped in the sweet chili sauce taste amazing.

SIOMIA (JAPANESE SHRIMP AND PORK BALLS)
1 lb ground pork
12 ounces raw shrimp, minced
½ cup chopped green onion
2 TBS garlic, minced
1 TBS fresh ginger, minced
½ cup diced water chestnuts
1 TBS mirin
1 TBS sesame oil
1 TBS ponzu
1 TBS sriracha
¼ cup panko
1 tsp salt
sweet chili sauce for dipping
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Mix all of the ingredients together in a large bowl. Form into balls using an ice cream scoop onto a greased sheet pan. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Allow to cool slightly. Serve with sweet chili sauce as a dip.
