I’ve said it and I will say it again. How can you hire an absolute legend with so much experience when your sitting in the relegation zone after a terrible start to a season, give him no investment at all, he gets your team into Europe and fighting for the title two seasons running and actually instilling mass pride in the Geordie faithful, tell him he’s done a crap job because he finished 5th after selling one of his best defenders to Real Madrid and not replacing him, he gets yous to the UEFA cup semi final against a very good Marseille team and then sack him four games into the next season still not investing in him, replacing someone like Gary speed with Nicky Butt and bringing Steven Carr in and Patrick Kluivert who was known for picking what games he showed up for on a free, then replacing him with GRAEME SOUNESS!! Who had just ruined Blackburn Rovers by falling out with all his best players and leaving a ruin behind but not only that giving him investment, MORE investment that Bobby had in his five years at the club to spend £9.5 million on Luque, £8.5 million on Boumsong and £17 million on Micheal fucking Owen?? Well no wonder the club has been in turmoil for decades probs what they deserve to be fair. Worst decision ever made in Newcastle United’s history was sacking Sir Bobby Robson former England manager, former Porto and Barcelona manager and PSV with Graeme fuking Souness who ruined every club he ever managed. I would have rather have had Peter Reid at Newcastle then that arrogant Scottish prick

He knew the game - his fall from the England job was his appetite and excelled so much after! Even at over 70...he deserved a trophy with Toon for his go attitude 😊

Was such a great journey that year. Still puts a smile on my face remembering being in the San Siro with 12,000 of us. Robbed on the pitch that night.
