Just a quick edit of The Fenman coming south towards Ely on the morning of 12th Dec 2010 on a Railway Touring Company Christmas Steam Special en-route to Kings Cross. Taken from the river bank just north of Ely using a Sony PMW-EX3.
Interestingly, I've heard from a friend who was on Ely station that morning that (no doubt as as I took these shots 1/2 mile north) the imminent "arrival of Oliver Cromwell" was announced - it was originally booked to head this special. When 60007 appeared it must have given a few people a bit of a surprise then!
I had to edit out some spectators standing nearby (when I went wider on the shot as she neared) and I screwed up the fast panning a bit as she went past - but it came out pretty well once I edited those glitches out. 15-20 years ago when I used to commute daily on The Fenman from Ely to Cambridge it was 31 or 47 hauled - not quite in the same class as this!
