I was 5 when my great grandmother took me to see Milo and Otis. Wasn't really a fan of the movie, but I cherish the memory for the sake of my wonderful great grandmother!

I remember seeing "Betsy's Wedding" when I was really young and all I remember is the actual wedding reception and (spoilers) all the rain water and flooding. Watching it years later now as an adult, I was disappointed that my memory of it was basically just the last 10 minutes. I agree with their review.

I liked Betsy's wedding. Alan alda and Joe pesci had some great timing and funny scenes. Burt young as the mob boss was good and funny. Alda plays the frazzled dad better than say Steve martin in father of the bride. And Catherine ohara had some good moments standing up to Joe pesci. Molly ringwald embraced the kookiness of her character and made me laugh and was very sweet. A sweet and funny film. Very underrated. If you find it on t.v. or DVD or VHS I'd recommend it.

Milo and Otis was alot better when I was a child before you realize how many animals had to die to film this. I even named my cat and dog after this movie came out.

When Siskel and Ebert reviewed Milo and Otis, was that for a re-release or something?

Just finished Betsy's Wedding for the first time. I definitely agree Anthony Lapaglia gave the best performance in the movie and I agree the movie would have been so much better focusing on his character and that of Ally Sheedy's. Alan Alda also gave a nice performance but as a director I felt he had some good ideas but never really had them pay off. Lapaglia made it worth watching once for me, but watch the similar yet also different Father of the Bride that came out one year later and is overall a much better film.

@@ricardocantoral7672 Don't go in with low expectations. Go in without expecting a true serious sequel to Gremlins. Watch the film knowing it's supposed to be a cynical take on Hollywood commercialism of the era.

Critic cluelessness at it's finest. First claiming Gremlins 2 doing more of the same only more, missing the point of the film being satire of just that. Second, insisting it would have been better if they delivered on the Looney Tunes cartoon. They did. The majority of the film was a live action Warner Bros. cartoon.

I liked that they expanded Phoebe Cates' role, as no movie can be too bad with her in it. The novelty of the Gremlins in the first movie couldn't be there, so they did the best they could with it.

"Gremlins 2" really sucked. The humor is totally forced.
