I can't even tell you how much I love Fear of a Black Hat. Rusty skewers _everybody_ in the whole rap/hip-hop genre, from black girl groups to white rappers and more. And there are a hundred little scenes of just perfect comedy. It's a great companion piece to something like Straight Outta Compton (the film, not the album). It's a goddamn shame that Fear isn't more widely available. Thanx again for posting, war guild.

You mean Speed? Yeah, Gene really got excited there. But he had a good point. If you don't know going in what the bonus stuff is, you get a lot more than what you bargained for. Yes, there are some cliches that occur in the film that I could've done without, but the story does surprise us with other things that occur. It isn't just the bus stuff that goes on here.

Fear of a Black Hat is by far one of the funniest movies ever made, it is funny from the start to the end. I cannot tell you how many times I have actually watched this classic film. I tell all my friends about it, and the ones who finally break down and see it all agree of the level of humor in this film. Way better than CB4, I know many people have seen that movie, but it isn't even close. The fact that both Siskel and Ebert gave it two thumbs up, speaks volumes to this fine cinema

The 90s was a great decade for movies. Even a little horror movie like Wolf is great. I totally disagree about the Nicholson and Pfeiffer relationship. Its wonderfully bittersweet. But you also had a great action classic like Speed coming out at the same time. And Keanu Reeves is an amazing action star. Look at Speed, The Matrix and John Wick.

it seems like getting even with dad is more of the polar opposite of home alone because it kinda has this cute love story between glenne headly and ted danson now, had the love story aspect been taken up a notch, but still keeps the rest of the story in tact, with the son, but you at least change out who stole the coins, then at the very least, danson and headley's love story would match the father son bond with culkin in other words, if this film were remade today, it would have a bigger cast of characters done by a ton of actors

The parody of the rap movie looks hilarious not sure why it's not more known. I never heard of it but would def watch it. 94 was some year for movies. I really liked wolf a lot & was nice to see Nicholson play a very normal nice guy freaked over what is happening. We know Jack can play bonkers ( the shining ) or over the top ( batman ) or male ho ( see several of his movies) but hes so low key like he is on thorazine that it's actually refreshing. Hes the one cheated on by his wife who is actually age appropriate. Hes a smart publisher who gets betrayed by his protege. I also liked his chemistry with Pfeiffer. Speed was a huge hit & of course pulp fiction came out that year & turned the industry on its head while reviving the sagging careers of travolta & willis which led each to some really good movies in the 90s travolta in face off which every teenager my age loved & get shorty. Willis got some really great movies like 12 monkeys, the sixth sense another film that turned the industry on its head so much so everyone ( including the director!) Were trying to top the " big twist " ending. Also made breakout roles for thurman , ving rhames & samuel jackson ( I know I had seen him before but this film made him a list )
