There's something mystical and beautiful about these evening and late night ventures. Thank you for the post!

Even in the cloister, there's no such thing as having a dull moment...LOL I remember being in one on a vocational retreat, lasting about a week or two, and made the mistake of telling one of the nuns there how bored I might be behind the cloister and they looked at me as if I had lost my mind. They looked at me and replied wide-eyed, "Excuse me? Did you say 'BORED'? I pray everyday to God for at least one moment of boredom. As you can see there's lots of work to be done around here...."

The world has it's depiction of a "strong woman." But this nun is the complete Icon of strength in a woman.

I am American Catholic, and this order of nuns seems like the teaching orders here in the Catholic church. Rather than being cloistered, they are very busy involved with children, which is chaotic. Bless them for showing a life to these young people that is focused on God.

Seek our higher selves at all times. altruism, humility, empathy, compassion, righteousness, unconditional divine love then we find the truth above all truths and Christ Consciousness within that comes from heaven
Nuns have never been in the habit of sitting idly by and waiting for God to put a halo on them.

That's the most agitated, jittery nun I've ever seen. But the music makes it all worth while.

Wrong constations. You can not talk about monks or nuns if you have not met them. So please visit a monastery and talk with a one, after that comment on the videos, but only if you have the same thoughts. I am sure you won't!

It is important to remember that nuns are humans just like every one of us. They feel everything we do, but at the same time they have heard the call of God to their vocations. So below each actions, each circumstance there is something deeper. She says it well at the end - nothing makes sense without God. Even our agitation.

If you have ever worked with large groups of children, you understand agitated and jittery. But the nun retreats to God to regain balance, then recommits to service.

Not w/o purification and penance. The goal is to be close but it involves trials, hence one enters a monastic or inner life. Don't judge.
