Fascinating video. I’ve ridden my motorcycle by the nuns castle but never gave it much thought. Elsinore is a trippy place with a lot of forgotten history. Thanks for sharing.

Uncle Fester from the original Adam's Family show was the owner of that second castle on skyline. 😊

I’ve been to that castle that was owned by sister Aimee. It’s now owned by Pastor Nancy Dufresne. I’ve been there on a group tour, while attending her church, before she bought it.

The foundation you seen with the retaining rock walls was a country club that was abandoned for decades until it caught fire in the early 2000s. The fire destroyed most the building so it was demoed. Oh and Amy’s castle has a tunnel that leads you into the house. I don’t think it’s the one you found in the beginning of your vid lol

That country club was actually built for one of Al Capone's wife as a wedding gift from him. It had tunnels to escape, both to Aimees castle, and down to the lake, where there used to be what we called bungaloos where people from the country club would go to dock the floating casino! and even under the lake.

The history of Elsinore is very intriguing! There are many versions that one may get, especially points of views of the many rich and famous that have been through there. The area that is specifically being spoke of Was actually called little Hollywood from many who came out here for the mud baths/ sulferbaths, and the lake and casino on the lake. And many mobsters, bootleggers and mafiosos frequently the area for many reasons, including trafficking hootch in and out of the area.
