This was the first video I clicked on when I searched for this topic and it was all I needed to see. I just finished Gorman’s book and it’s amazing that Rich wrote the open G songs basically in the studio when recording SYMM. The crazy part is that he only picked up open tuning a few months earlier at the request of their producer. There’s something really magical about open tuning. It can make the guitar sound magical. ❤. Keep up the good work brother.

Thanks! I will I could give you a long answer which all the crazy gear I used for this but it was a Yamaha desktop practice amp…it’s actually a great amp for the office…but the guitar is a Rich Robinson tribute es-335 which is magical!
