Thank you for this lovely video. I love Sister Parish’s designs!

My only comment is you got a date wrong--Mrs.Kennedy did not contract Mrs. Parish in 1953 to decorate rooms in the White House. The Kennedy's did not enter the White House until 1960. One of the headlines was "Kennedy's hire nun to decorate White House."

Almost true: the Kennedys entered the White House January 20, 1961 on Inauguration Day. And more than one Kennedy is Kennedys. Just add an s. No apostrophe.

Sister was picked by Jacqueline in 1963 not 1953.

Nice job. One thing to note: to say that Mrs. Parish originated the "Parish Hadley style" does an injustice to Albert Hadley, perhaps the greatest decorator of the 20th Century. Their distinct and at times opposing points of view yielded some astonishing results, the Paley's drawing room at 820 Fifth for example. To hear Albert tell it, Mrs. Parish was as gifted a decorator as any of the greats he had met, and he had met them all. Albert was uniquely self-effacing, however, and would have been loath to include himself on that list. Incidentally, I found the narration clear, unpretentious, and full of charm.

Don't need that loud, distracting music. Totally unnecessary.
