If you wanna be rich you don't study acting as is one of the most probably ways to end poor. This people go to show biz cuz they want the fame and the attention that's a whole different world than money. You could be rich and people will treat you well, but no one will care a shit about you in the streets, you'll get the same treatment as other rich people and people will go after your money and not you. When you are famous people will want your attention for you, will want to trat you to the best cuz of you and people will go after you. Rich people is relevant cuz of their money. Famous people are relevant cuz of themselves and that's a drug that once you try it is very hard to give up.

It's amazing. Most actors, and I mean literally MOST...like...99.5%...would give anything to have a career as lucrative as the "faltered" careers of the actors on this list who simply haven't had gigs a lucrative as their past ones. Obviously, this excludes actors who completely alienated themselves from the industry and their fans. But simply not having smash hits for their whole career is hardly faltering. Most actors go on endless auditions and their entire career is as extras or walk-ons. Having one season in a starring role would be a dream come true for them. But this is KZitem, and anyone can be an entertainment "journalist". Champagne wishes and TMZ dreams...

The people in this list will always be known for the characters that made them famous. Quite a few of the actors mentioned on this list seem to be people who don't follow the typical Hollywood political ideology as far as I can tell. The title also suggests they're out there begging for validation, but I don't really think that is the case. If their political beliefs are keeping them from getting work however, then that is pretty sad.

100% agreed. We tell ourselves that actors aren't their characters when discussing harassment and obsession, but we forget to pinch that same salt when our feelings toward them go sour. Actors are doing a thing; they're applying skills and trying to accomplish a task. It's easy to lose sight of that when we get so invested in the personas they create, but it's unfair (and a little immature?) to judge the job they do based on conclusions they've drawn of their own life experiences. For example, I would be uncomfortable with a pro-life evangelical teaching sex-ed to my daughter in school, but if they're separating their beliefs from their curriculum and doing a good job teaching what's required of them, I'd never try to take their livelihood from them. I love American Beauty and House Of Cards, and I shouldn't have to stop because of Kevin Spacey. He did great work in those projects. Melissa Joan Hart may be trying to marry her agenda to her career, but Clarissa explained it all to me and I can't just forget that. I'd say about half of those listed are still out there trying to be relevant, and even if they aren't lucky enough to get cast in something ELSE that becomes a mega-hit, they're doing a fine job of hanging in there.

I’m pretty sure these celebrities are well aware they aren’t at the top of their game anymore. I think they are just trying to keep working period. Once you’re a big celebrity it’s probably really difficult to go back to a normal life so they take what work they can get. That’s not a bad thing. This video makes it sound like the celebs should crawl in a cave and just give up.

One thing that people mostly hate Debra Messing for is the fact that she allegedly bullied her Megan Mullaly on the reboot of Will and Grace. I honestly believe Megan because Debra has gotten into lots of dramas she started such as when she thought Kim Kardashian shouldn't be hosting snl even though she has never done so and her 3 costars on Will and Grace have (Eric Mcormack, Sean Hayes, and Megan Mullaly). She kind of rubs me the wrong way as of recent times but her run on the original Will and Grace was good.

What a shallow video! Several people appear on the list specifically because they have expressed conservative views and 1 (Hart) is called out by the video for claiming she's being targeted because of conservative views. Gee, I wonder why she would think that.

Brian, I think it would be more accurate to say the celebrities' lost work and became less popular because they expressed conservative views. That's how they qualified to be included on this list.

@@brendawadkowski4281 As (thankfully) we don’t know their ‘whole’ lives, maybe they do! Maybe they do things with out public relations telling us what great humans they are …. Wouldn’t THAT be refreshing? I appreciate those celebrities that use their fame & recognition for good - but often they get criticized for voicing their opinion and the ‘needs’ of a charity, a minority, an enterprise. Sadly, people are critical about everything, everyone, all the time. For example: if you don’t like what is going on in Washington, but don’t WRITE your representatives and don’t VOTE, how can you criticize? Mind you, I’m not pointing to YOU, I’m just making an example.
