We still need to sure up the PF position I like jarace Walker from Indiana because they got to many players at that position

Exactly... We got out-rebounded in the playoffs because we needed a big to crash the boards while Embiid was still on the floor. I love Nichalis Claxton as a 5th starter. He would be perfect.

If Embiid is in the lineup, it’s not a small-ball lineup. Tobias is 6’8… PG is 6’8”. Oubre is 6’7” with a much bigger wingspan. PJ Tucker is 6’5” and was our PF. We also will have KJ Martin. We have Embiid with Drummond off the bench. The PF will be played by committee plus a vet min guy like Morris, RoCo, or Hayward. We are fine… especially if we can swing DFS, Nance, or someone during the deadline.
@OntheGo_

We’ve had Tobias has pf for years and we complained abt his effort, it’s just hard going against 6”9 pf that are athletic. DFS would be perfect. I’m just tryna be realistic. We’ve been preaching EMBIID needs help with boards and having a actual pf guarding a Kristaps ect instead of EMBIID having to leave the paint

What power forwards will Caleb Martin be sticking Jason Tatum, Jaime jaquez, Julius Randle, Pascal Siakum, Giannis?? We will have a team of wings who can switch where Embiid won’t have to cheat out and focus more on the boards. This isn’t the 90’s anymore. The bigger forwards PG can defend if needed.
@OntheGo_
26 күн бұрын
I understand, however look at every team that has a superstar big man, they have interior help, Giannis had brook lopez for years and Bobby Portis. Nicola jok has Aaron Gordon. EMBIID can’t be the only good interior defender. It’s too draining for one player and we’ve seen EMBIID get hurt or just tired from all that responsibility.

@@OntheGo_ I gotcha I just think now having better perimeter guys makes up for missing that size. But technically we will be position list and bigger forwards PG will probably guard. Look at the reigning champs Tatum is the PF a bunch of perimeter guys and Porzingy/Horford.

I enjoyed Paul Reed in the beginning as much as everybody else. But I quickly soured on him because he absolutely has one of the lowest basketball IQs I’ve ever seen on an NBA court. He just looked so lost and was at a size disadvantage in almost every situation, showing most against the Knicks. Not sure why anybody would be all that sad to see him be waived. 7.7mil is like 2 or 3 times what his market value probably is. I do agree we we absolutely need a real PF now though. Sad to see we couldn’t get a trade together for DFS.

You're talking like Caleb Martin is an "unsure of player". You must not know. That Dorian Finney-Smith crap is silly. He is not an impact player like Caleb Martin. Adem Bona is a power forward/ center. What are you missing?

Relax, bona is still a rookie, im big on him however expecting a 2nd round rookie to have big minutes in the playoffs is laughable.

They would only ask Bona to play defense, block shots, block out, set picks and help on the glass. His athleticism can't be coached. Can easily earn 10-15 minutes of playing time.
