I've said this before and I'll say it again: this song is a peaceful summer evening translated into musical notes. I'm sitting in my bedroom as I type this with evening falling on a day in midspring. It was nice in the afternoon but it's now a bit too cool to have the windows open. Nonetheless, as I listened to this song for the umpteenth time, I felt a warm, lazy breeze float past me while fireflies bobbed around in it like boats on a lake. I am an old metal head and love all manner of loud, angry music but somehow, over 20 years later, this is just about the only song that can elicit a strong emotional reaction in me and draw out my most over the top prose when describing it.

Ah the 1990's. When music was about art, form, and creativity. When movies weren't a political agenda. Before NAFTA took full swing and destroyed America's self sustained economy where even young teenagers worked at McDonalds and bagged groceries. When people were sane, for the most part polite, and industry was a magnum opus. It was a beautiful time in American history with all probability that will never again be seen due to Liberal politicians making a political statement in every avenue of life they can. This song really does take me back. I remember watching it on Mtv when Mtv was.... well..... Mtv...... MUSIC VIDEOS. This song brings back so many memories of my teenaged life it makes me want to cry. Life was not perfect for my family in any regard, but it didn't matter. You see.... back then people really were content, and selflessness wasn't a dirty word. I miss those days so much. I doubt we'll ever see times like that again. America is too far gone now. What we call "progress" is the ultimate destroyer of any society either past or present. It's too bad. My family didn't have a lot, but life was good. It's such a shame. Take care now.

If that magical 90s never ended, which in my opinion is the best era that we grew up in....Then we wouldn't be stuck with the stupidity of Today's society with Technology being relied on by Today's Youth.

getting ready to turn 40 in 2 months. This song took me back to being 17 and kissing the love of my life while sitting in my little ford ranger with the radio on. It was a beautiful evening in KY. Sadly I lost her in 2001. We broke up and she took her own life. I still love and miss her so much !

This song is so beautifully wrought in the studio. Really tight, iconic use of instrumentation and feel. Real clean. So nice. That bass line after, "Kiss Me," it's just perfect.

This song. I was 14 years old and we went with a department of our school to the Ardennen in Belgium for a fieldtrip for a few days. On the last day we went to a small bar with a dancefloor on top of a hill. When this song came on, and especially at the 2.00 minute mark of the song everybody went crazy on the dancefloor. I wish we realized at that time how precious this moment would be; a moment in our life without worries, work, bills and stress..while we were young, careless, having fun and having the time of our lives. What a beautiful time to remember. Time flies people...
