You said the medium was 220 lbs but the large was 150lbs ????

AH! You're right - I messed that one up! The medium is 119lbs for the powder coated and 127lbs for the stainless! The large is 143lbs for powder coated and 150lbs for the stainless. Thanks for catching that!

This is SO CRAZY HELPFUL. I have searched for some of this info to no avail on the Harvest Right website. Thanks for a short and simple video!

Thank for the video! Is the height from the inserted tray to the top ( where the heater is on each tray) the same height?

Ok i was just debating between a large or XL to grow my business, as I only have a medium and cant keep up. Clearly the XL wins, although I wonder about electric and time to process differs because I used my friends large and still a lot more in hers.

Being in Alberta, what would you say max cost per day electricity consumption? Using the most expensive distributor here. Do you have that done already that I haven’t seen?

The math gets very confusing! Here is the rates calculation we did for our website a wile back: Based on an average load using about 20-25 KWh, at 10¢/KWh, the average load of freeze-dried food would cost approximately $2.00 - $2.50 per load.

Harvest Right is very difficult to deal with if you have problems with their product it will be a nightmare.

I wouldn't buy a HR unit. Buy a stay fresh unit.

SF’s are just knock offs of HR’s with a gimmicky probe which only tells the temp of one piece of food. And yes, SF’s have problems. 😉👍
