Tbh according to a study scientists have found that metal and classical music induce kinda the same feelings in people. They are both overbearing, loud, somewhat majestic in their ways kinds of music. So while you won't see mosh pits at opera houses (make it happen ppl, with white wigs and period clothing, come on) the feel is there certainly. Especially baroque classical era of music is like thta. Deep, somewhat dark, majesticc, just less intense than metal is and ofc less distorted
@omega1231

+Brother Captain Koravael I wouldn't have thought you would need a scientific study to tell you that, alot of metal musicians were inspired by traditional classical like Beethoven and Bach, so it's not that odd that it conveys the same feelings of grandeur and heavy emotions, imo metal is the true progeny of traditional classical, since most orchestral music written today is best described as musac (music with a purpose, i.e. soundtracks etc. whatever wictionary says it's not necessarily a derogatory term, it's actually a technical term in music describing a certain niche which is being filled currently either by electronica or orchestral music)

Amazing! Greetings from Ukraine! By the way, here's lyrics and translation, if someone still need it: Íslenska Ligg ég eftir langa drauma, Liggur stirður, hugur sljór. English Lying after long dreams, lying stiffly, dull of mind. I feel the intense hatred boiling, squeezing a vengeance that I once swore. The moor has many unseen dangers, I look towards black peaks, there Hel resides in many forms: Darkness, cold, ice and snow. A soul from hell dove from the sky, took away my farm and my men. The hatred was embedded in my mind, still keeping me alive. May your ships be destroyed by death, I will find you on sea or on land. I seek you, ancient fiend, our meeting draws nearer. A morning sun in the midst of the moor, haunted by the memories. My anger is great and bitter, my hatred tears at my wounds. Once I had a woman waiting, fair she tended to my children, now I have a job to do: To kill, draw blood, stab and skin. Now we head to meet our imminent deaths, this journey will be the end of our days. Brave men in a moment of bloodlust and Valhalla awaits us. Now we head to meet our imminent deaths, this journey is our calling and our story. Brave men in a moment of bloodlust and Valhalla awaits all of us!
