Basically, the end was filmed this way because just like the POV changes every season, the ending changed into the POV of the viewer! And all the comments you saw were real comments of people discussing the show on different platforms, the last part being a girl saying she was crying because her home life is just like Vilde's, and hence people sending a bunch of hearts. Ah, I remember being sad for DAYS after the final episode

You know, the story about Episode 10 is that Sana gave her last 10% to her friends (reference to the marijuana she returned to Isak) by giving her last episode to everybody else on the show. While Skam was only 4 seasons long, it was initially planned to be longer, with people like Vilde, and Even, and Eskild getting their own season. Since this was no longer happening, at least they got their own prominent spot in the last episode. And good of you to mention how Even and Isak keep eachother in check - this Even scene was certainly meant to highlight that not only is Isak good for Even, but also the other way around...Even turned a pretty grumpy boy into a very happy Isak. Maybe even the most stable couple of the show. I feel cheated out of a Vilde season and definitely Even and some of the others deserved their own as well. But we are where we are. I can definitely say that Skam changed my life, and only for the better. This show is so amazing, I can't but not heap praise on it. Everybody should watch it. Alt er love.

@@lauratroy13 i heard that they planned up to 10 seasons, with 7 being the most cited number. But for instance Even’s season wasn’t really pondered until S3 became such a huge success, I would think. Jonas was also pretty likely, given we know so little about him. I guess all the people we see in Ep 10 were people Julie would have made a season about eventually, as they were so prominently featured. Unfortunately, it never came to be.

I think Even and Eskild were never supposed to be the main character of their own seasons. Based on Julie Andem answer on Reddit AMA, she said that the characters that were supposed to have their own season were: Eva, Noora, Sana, Chris, Vilde, P Chris, Jonas, Isak, William.

Also, Chris is such an incredible friend. She is 100 percent non-judgemental, all the time, and I love it. I would have loved a Vilde or Chris season!! And the Even and Isak scene is short but it speaks volumes about their relationship!! They balance one another. So well done.

The beauty of the Even scene is that the director connected it with different episode of season 3. First, with the bench scene, where they are two complete strangers, this time they are boy friends. Second, with the dialogue from te first scene of the chapter 5: "I will make a movie about you". Third, with the minute by minute dialogue: "we will take it completely chill". Fourth, with the final scene of te chapter 9, where Isak "saves" Even, this time is Even who rescues Isak, calmins him down. And finally, with the dialogue with Eskild (pride): "i think that until you've fought that battle yourselft until you've had the courage tostand up for who you are (...). Eskild would be very proud of is friend, Isak ;)

19:39 See, my boys, the thing is, we ARE a part of Skam. I'm sure you've noticed that when Jonas closed the series the same way he opened it, the point of view cameras suddenly turned to our perspective, the viewers. It's us videoing the episode, sharing it around the web, commenting, engaging, and living vicariously through this wonderful fictional world. It's the creator, Julie Andem's way of telling us that this show wouldn't be possible if it we weren't an integral part of it. We might think that we are only a passive agent when it comes to our interaction with the show, but the little things we do to help more people become aware of its brilliance is more than we realize. Even if we can only let one person know of its existence, it's already a massive deal since Julie's first goal was to just create an authentic retelling of the teenage experience and to let people who'll be able to watch it know that we are not alone. As Jonas' and the multiple versions of these characters have said in their speeches, the Butterfly Effect happens more frequently than we realize. Our littlest steps shakes an entire ant hill. So, in a world where it's too easy to spread hate, let's put more effort in spreading love instead. Loved seeing you guys experience this show. Thanks for giving me a serotonin boost for the past months. Now, you two shall join us in spreading the Good Word. We must make our Skam Cult bigger.

I mean, who does not fall in love with Isak and Even? These young actors are all such gems and did a phenomenal job depicting these characters, they felt so real and genuine. It was also so much fun listening to Norwegian, it is somewhat similar to Swedish which I can speak, "norska" just sounds so delightful, love it! Thank you NRK for this wonderful series!

Such a bittersweet episode, and great to watch it again with you two. Some really lovely insights and steps forward for the characters… but boy it leaves you wishing there were more episodes. That said, you’re about to start another great journey. Think of France as one of those parallel universes that Isak and Even talked about. The French characters aren’t replacements for the Norwegian ones, they’re other people thrown into similar circumstances who often make the same decisions when confronted with choices, but who sometimes choose differently. As much as you loved these characters, you may find yourselves surprised by both the similarities and differences you’ll run into, but if you’re like me, you’ll gradually fall for them just as much. Daphne is a wonderful parallel-universe Vilde, Manon is fantastic take on Noora, Chloé is a more fleshed-out Emma… and Isak and Even’ s French counterparts Lucas and Eliott? Well, they’re simply iconic. The actors are older in France. They’re not *Riverdale* older, but they have just a couple more years under their belt… and they’re all very good. Remember that one of the main reasons that Julie Andem ended Norway was that some of the actors couldn’t handle the attention they were getting, they were just a little too young. If you start with Season 1, you’ll find that it and Season 2 have minimal differences with the OG. Not that they’re not good, they’re just not particularly new. It’s like a translation from one language and culture to another… but it is a translation. With Season 3, it’s more like a variation on a theme. Andem gave them freedom to switch it up more, and a gay head writer, Nils Rahou, was brought in to rewrite it. He brings in some really thrilling moments, and there’s a good chance that in episode 2, you’ll fall in love. If you do start with season 3 and would still like a summary of the top points of seasons 1 and 2, I have a half hour video that has a pile of copyright strikes against it so I cannot make it public. I linked it in a message a few months ago, which you took that down (sorry for over-stepping), but if you’re interested in watching it, contact me through this and I can make it available to you. Finally, one of the great things about France is that they were able to keep going, so for example what was hinted at with Vilde here gets to be played out in Season 6 of France through Daphne. And if you loved little snippets of Evak in OG Season 4, you get ongoing looks at Élu in France Seasons 4, 5, and 6. I’m looking forward to your next set of videos as much as you two are!

Jason- hmmm what s her name?’ Corey- August. I died 🤣 By the way Even’s clip was on air on June 21 - Isak’s birthday😊, and then he was 18 so he could buy some beer himself then😊

Such a beautiful last episode and a great reaction - worth the wait with the youtube trouble:) Really looking forward to the rest of your reactions to the first seasons and to SKAM France!

I can't wait for your reactions to Skam France because it's my top favourite remake! ❤ Make sure to watch the trailer for season 3 of Skam France before the first episode because it's a part of the plot that happens two weeks before the season starts!

As a hijabi Muslim, i am glad to see the character Sana. When usually "our characters" always deemed negatively, this show shed some light on who a muslim is and that some of us are good people and accepting. And i love your guys reaction to SKAM. ;)

This show was just gorgeous! I still get emotional about it. And I'm so glad I was lucky enough to experience the phenomenom at that moment. Back those days I found a KZitem clip of Isak and Even by chance when 3rd season was still on the run. I fell so in deep with them and the rest of the cast.

I have loved all your Skam reactions so, so much!🤍🌞 I really hope you will watch DRUCK (Germany)... While some people might not be too excited about Druck's season 1 (as it is quite closely following the original), all following seasons of Druck are absolutely amazing. I personally think that Druck's season 3 is by far the best of all remakes! But no matter which remake you will be reacting to I'm gonna be happy to watch.🥰

Not sure if anyone else mentioned this….the clips in the final episode are slightly different as they go by character. Especially Even, Vilda and Eskild were unique because they never got their own seasons and the original plan was they would get their own seasons. The clips were just a mini view into their lives 🌸

There is a film made by Baloon Squad (Elias and other boys) in which they are reunitng with Even. It is super extra sweet and gives some additional backstory of Even. You should definitely see it! kzitem.info/news/bejne/to9_3Yl7epmcgXo
