slow motion really is a great way to study skateboarding, and certainly experimenting with foot placement for tricks can help a lot, thank you Liam!

I do agree it helps to some degree. However I personally had a couple of issues with it: First, knowing how a given flick/movement looks is FAR from knowing how to make your body replicate anything similar to it. What we think we are doing, that movement we tell your body to execute is often not what we really get our body to do (For example, at some point when learning kickflips I got into the weird habit of “flicking” my front arm while my intention was to flick only my foot). So I would recommend taking advantage of the slow mo but not to solely focus on mimicking some specific movement/foot placement; rather experiment within some range and rely also on the feeling and the outcome you get for feedback. Second issue (this may be funny) I had is flicking way too slowly for any of it to actually work, because the slow mo footage tricked my brain into it, while in reality flicking movements are generally fast. For the above reasons, I prefer to watch people doing the trick I am working on right in front of me, it goes a LONG way. If you got that chance, take advantage of it.
