I personally would like to see more skatepark or even street-freeride content! Either with BMX, DJ or regular MTBs

I spend a lot of time at Joyride precisely for the reasons stated in this video. Things I learn there translate directly to summertime dirt jumps and mountain riding. Everyone in MTB should be riding a smol bike too.

I bought a dirt jumper and have been riding skate park and am noticing it pay off on the trails, particularly with manuals and pumping. I now push with my legs when I manual and I only picked that up through manualling down fun boxes at the skate park.

I've been riding my dirt jumper at skateparks for a few months now and I love it. I've tried to get some "traditional" mtb riders into it but there seems to be some resistance. Not sure why.

Skate parks are great when you don't want to get muddy, but it's always fun to ride different things even if they scare you. Variety spices up your riding. I am not a great rider like Blake or Neil but it's nice to be able to swap from the xc bikes to the dirt jumper or bmx and try different things. I reckon everyone who rides MTB should also have a bmx in their arsenal because riding a small bike you barely fit on without strong brakes like hydraulic discs and no suspension will teach you a bit. Plus it's fun to do goofy challenges and bizarre tricks on a bmx with your mates.

This is why I've invested in a BMX... MTB is still my primary style, but the BMX is solely for the skatepark & to practice tricks, to eventually apply them to the trails

Awesome video. My background is in BMX/Freestyle ramp and halfpipe. At my ripe old age of 47, I just bought my first mountain bike in 15 years. Still getting my feet wet, but perhaps a skate park will be that old familiar friend to learn my mountain bike better. Cool video! PS....here in the US, the "no footer" is called the "bollocks smasher".

We got two of these for our daughters kzitem.infoUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L the same size for age 6 and 9. It works very well for both girls. Gears were very easy for them to learn. Changing gears up takes some hand strength and is a bit hard, but they are learning. They did not come with water bottle holders- we actually got confused and thought the Derailler Guard was the bottle holder!! Regardless of these details, the bikes are fantastic- even our six year old who only just learned to ride bikes caught on within an hour of practice and loves it. Lightweight and easy for them to handle. All the parts are in excellent condition and the bikes are easy to assemble and very well packaged. Great choice for kids!
