Good to see the tip. One minor quibble: \ is back-slash not forward-slash.

Again and again, i see that older videos contain pieces of information that are almost forgotten, and often not mentioned anywhere else, not even on the help website.! Everything becomes more and more superficial, almost everywhere.!

How was the instructor able to select the right hand door frame and move it as a single component? It appears to be attached to the rest of the drawing therefore the entire drawing should have been selected, right? I think this should be explained in the video.

Thanks for sharing, learned something new. How can angular dimensions be obtained and displayed? Example, I am putting together a cut list for a woodworking project. I need to cut a 2" x 10" board on the end by 30 degrees - how can this be obtained by using the dimension or protractor tool? I know the dimension took can obtain radius and diameter, but how can I get angle dimensions?

+Jos Ritter It would be nice to know how to do angular dimensions but I suspect it is not included in the free version. Perhaps this extension tool might solve the problem extensions.sketchup.com/en/content/dimension-tools

Go to "Window" (in Menu Bar), select "Model Info", Select "Units", adjust "Precision".
