Depositions are opinions of others not facts as the behavioral test have proven! Now, as I have worked in the psychology field but hold no degree, I have personally witnessed persons who complain of somatic issues which once they can get the mind under control, the somatic issues greatly decrease and very often diminished. His issues are unfortunate but also understandable at his age, by no way did the accident cause his issues. Mr. Sanderson should not have been skiing in the first place! I can confirm what you’re saying. I’ve had the unfortunate privilage of experiencing burn-out from way too much stress for too long, which triggered some genes and already present intestinal issiues and ended up in Crohn’s disease diagnosis, with 2 years of severe inflammation, an intestinal rupture and more. It took, even after finally getting working medication, several years of working through the stress related and mental issues that I finally got (mostly) pain free. This started in 2015 and even getting EMDR for the whole of 2020, I saw a decrease in somatic issues as well. I’m saying psychological issues have a real impact on somatic issues, which we can’t always seperate, but they’re there for sure. In.my.experience.

I feel for Mr Sanderson as he is suffering but it's not from the fall! Its a very complicated situation and he himself has probably had undiagnosed mental issues as a child. If Mr. Sanderson had doubled his medication one should look at the side effects of those medications, and also if he was taking any medications already at the time of the ski incident.

@@Mandy-rl9vc thank you, yes it was very scary unfortunately the actual stroke happened when I was asleep so when I woke up with paralysis it was too late to get the medication that stops a stroke and breaks up the clot you have a small window of time to get the medication and I missed it since I was asleep when they did the scan the damage was already done 😢

A professional witness always testifies in relation to the money-flow. I don't give either side any credibility in this case. Paltrow, accidents are just that. Skiing is dangerous. Go home and be glad it's not worse. Sanderson, quit golddigging. Go home and be glad it's not worse. Both of you! Get a life!

If he landed on her, then that means she cushioned the impact. It's not like he fell on a rock from the sky. So, was he going very fast like a competitor at the Olympics? How fast can that be? Or at a moderate speed that doesn't cause huge injuries? Unless, of course, he was irresponsible and drunk like a drunk driving a car. So he is in a hurry to make a quick buck and it's going to backfire. He will be the one to pay her for her lawyer's fees. Somebody gave him bad advice when they told him to suel....he thought GP was going to settle out of court and just give him the $300K to cut through the chase.

He was originally suing for 3.1 million. It wasn't until recently when the judge threw it out and said the max damages could be $300,000 that he was already stuck.

If he's telling his doctor it's 5-6 drinks 2-3 times a week, you can be sure it is much more. In the US, people minimize there drinking to doctors. In Utah, they really minimize it. Plus this is on top of his psych meds.

I’m certainly not siding with this guy, but my symptoms did worsen over time. I ended up seeing doctor after doctor that wanted to medicate me or claimed it was all in my head. I was neurologically tested and scored very high, but I had symptoms of severe dizziness, blurred vision, inability to read or sleep, and things of that nature. It was horrific. I had to quit working. I finally was so desperate after being told I was crazy or dismissed or pawned off to the pharmaceutical industry, I sought out a holistic doctor. After lengthy tests I was diagnosed with Lyme disease exasperated by hitting my head and had to go through vision therapy three times a week for two years. The medical industry isn’t always right. I’m now 99% better and paid everything out of pocket, but I didn’t care. My health is worth it. A vestibular issue can get worse. I’m testimony to that.

I had a bad fall and suffered a mild concussion but the worst thing about the accident was the anxiety I suffered from the injury, which admittedly was self inflicted, so I agree with the doctor when she said that your fears after the incident is what drags things out longer than need be. What helped me overcome it was cognitive therapy.
