I suffered with skin tags. Prior to me retiring, my medical insurance covered dermotology, now they don't. I can't afford $400+ office visit for skin tag removal, so this is the next best thing for me.

I once had a skin tag, that hung of the side of my chest. It literally looked like a speed bag. I used a tool like this & it worked.

So if your really just trying to protect your patients from harm, then why do you charge so much to remove them? I come in and you see that it's just a skin tag in 10 seconds, then change me $150 to remove each tag, when I can remove them all for $20. Yes, I get that your training costs alot, but if your prices are so much more than someone doing the exact same thing at home, I'm not buying that you don't want us to do it at home for our safety. Your doing it to get your fee.

No one wants to schedule an appointment 3 months out to remove a skin tag. Make appointments easier to get or stop telling people not to remove them on their own.

You only have to wait 3 months? The range I was given was 8-24 months

I just saw a video talking about the correlation between diabetes, insulin resistance and skin tags. Is there any evidence about this? Any studies?

Of course this video will be book-ended by DO NOT TREAT this at home otherwise he won't have patients...Yes doc we would love to have it treated by docs, but since most of the times it is benign and to shell out 300-400 for simple procedure is only palatable to you Sir...Home treatments it is

Well you gotta price it for what it’s actually worth. If there are at home remedies that work more often than not, then why wouldn’t it be in that person’s best financial interest if you’re going to charge $500 for something that should be $50?

I keep seeing things about applying apple cider vinegar to them for a couple days in a row and then they just fall off. Thoughts?

Never do this! My husband thought he was pulling off a skin tag. After months of it not healing, we found out it was a Melanoma.

So removing it helped you find out he had cancer so he could get the trestment he needed sooner.

If it didn't cost so much to see a dermo or doctor, maybe I wouldn't have to buy treatments online 😂😂😂😂

My mom would just catch my skin tags when they were TINY and use fingernail clippers 🤦🏻
