The prime movers on the low bar squat are still the quads. It just shifts some knee extension demands to hip extension so proportionally more glutes.

Yeah they dont do volume work maybe he gotts do some sets legpress leg extensions then he can get more quads

That's how I'm built. It sucks having chicken legs, but it gives you an insane strength to weight ratio. Quads put so much weight on your body

Long femurus or short femurus whatever you said there doesnot affect your squat its just he has good base stremght genetics not becuase of that

The slight knee cave in (not always a bad thing) indicates the abductors taking over the glutes, so that’s quad dominance. Hips raising before shoulders (aka shifting back) indicates the glutes, low back and hamstrings taking over the quads, so posterior chain dominance.

i started doing hack squat because of this like a straight hack squat day replacing my heavy squat on that day i do light squat with a plate under my heels too because i was like, holy shit i can squat so much but my hack squat is fucking awful

Idk why anyone whose goals are purely hypertrophic would squat. Full ROM leg press and high rep leg extensions will build your quads better because they literally isolate the quads.

I think they dont do volume work focusing only on squats do some volume work the strength in singles may come more from neural drive than muscles cuz he is not failing on that weight its like 3rir or 4 then how would u expect muscles

In my experience, pushing knees forward helps when having a long femur.
