The dismount scared the life out of me, hope Skye's okay and not too shaken!

Poor Skye. Such a shame. Always hits normally. She had a really good chance of making the finals. 😞

noooo! this is so upsetting... she keeps falling on the easiest elements in her routines. the aerial cartwheel during the finals at worlds last year, and now the back tuck in quals here. i was rooting for her redemption, so sad :(

She literally fell team finals, event finals, almost fell in qualifications 2022 worlds, now she fell twice at worlds 2023. There is a problem here.

Historically, skye is not consistent. She made this team because she's a fantastic gymnast and she was an absolute rock in the domestic competitions leading to this. I think she just can't handle pressure on an international stage.

I have not seen her put together a clean beam routine in competition. She appears to be one of the performers who crumples under pressure. They should have put Jordan Chiles on the team because she has an amazing ability to perform under pressure and she's just so damned positive about keeping the team pumped up. While Suni Lee won Gold in Japan, Jordan Chiles was definitely the MVP of that Olympic team, working her tail off to keep everyone positive and focused.

leanne should start off for team finals on beam

Not likely but I’d love it if Josc did beam instead of Skye, and Leanne did FX and not Josc. I feel like Leanne’s floor routine needs a second look after quals. Especially if she can hit the last pass. And I think Josc has higher scoring potential on beam.

@@eliseperron1928 Josc is the "Jade Carey" in this worlds line up. I feel Jade and Jos will be competing for a spot in the next olympics and Suni/Skyle/Leanne will be competing amongst themselves. Jones & Biles seems locked in for the olympics. Wonder if Gabby will show up in next year's trial.

@@austinitel.2972 I think this worlds has actually kinda proven that jade and Josc spot is kinda irrelevant and not needed. Our number and two AA can medal on most events. If Leanne gets her cheng which is supposedly in the works then even more so

Actually she was very consistent this season leading up to worlds but seems like she can’t handle the pressure of the international stage. Will be interesting if she can make a case for herself next year for the Olympic team. If Suni comes back I doubt it

@@Bxyxox I have to agree. She had problems on beam in the team final and the balance beam final last year at Worlds. I think that they'll put Leanne in the team final on beam instead of Skye since at least Leanne is consistent. But poor Skye.😞
