Nice tute, nice planter. That design could make a neat canteen, or vase. Egg shaped or square/diamond shaped cutters might be interesting too. Possibilities are endless.

I would add 3 holes in base for drainage if you are using real plants otherwise they will drown when watered. Great tutorial thankyou from Queensland Australia

Slip making questions: would you get a "good" blender for your studio or a cheap one? I'm thinking maybe a cheaper one since I'll bet the clay is pretty hard on it and it'll probably be replaced frequently.

I buy blenders from thrift stores. In all reality, that don’t build them the way the used to. I keep the clay body as is. Just add water

My slab roller is by dual not measurement. I’d say a little thicker than you would use for a mug.

You do a wonderful job of demonstrating and I love that it's something different! I went on the site Bonanza to find the decorative vinyl mat that you used and I did not see it anywhere on the site. I have looked to find place mats that are like it and I just am coming up empty, Any other suggestions for the mat? I have googled everything I can think off! Thank you for sharing your talents!!
