Fall perch fishing in northern Michigan 2023. Fishing rivers can be challenging, moving around trying to find active fish can take time and patience. But the fall bite can make things easier because perch tend to feed in shallow water from 5 fow to 12 fow depending a lot on bait fish locations. Minnows tend to go shallow as well due to the colder water temps. This is when you can really put the slam on some nice perch. Late October to early November can be very productive. And with a bucket full of minnows and some wigglers you can have a lot of fun. Perch pounders are awesome to use and you can get doubles at any time. Just keep a few on hand because the pike and walleye tend to tear them up regularly. Tight lines everybody. Good luck fishing 🎣
