I recall snapping one kingpin in the early 90's on my Venture Featherlites. It happened after arriving on an out of town skate mission. I did a crackhop while navigating the sidewalk on the way to the spot. I still skate 90's Venture Featherlites to this day...

Super helpful review on the trucks and wheels. I love me Khiro cushions as well. I color coordinate stuff as best I can as well.

I think it's time for another superimposed overlapped runs video like you did 5 years ago in the clover bowl in College Station skate park to show speed difference between the Hosoi Rockets(97a 61mm) and the Rainskates(102a 60mm). This time testing dragons against harder sets.

Yes I think your right. Next time I go back to this bowl I'll do it. Thank you

How is the turning radius and control compared to the Ace? Compared to Thunder? Have you measured the axle to axle distance to see how much the truck angle affects the axle to axle wheelbase?

Honestly I think they're all even. I like my ace indy combo though. 😆

Looka like youve found what might be your set up for the foreseeable future. It works well for you and it shows in the skating. Killians coming along great. Definitely keep on the frontsides it will unclock new lines and make sure to bend the knees ans pump out of and into the corners you'll hit every grind that way. Whats next in your progression Roman any plans to learn some new lip tricks or are you just having too much fun😊😜🔥🔥💯💯🛹🛹 Pays to remember to have fun also thats what its about! Keep shredding!!!

Thank you, yeah for me I just got my very first front side double truck carve grind. I'd like to get really good at front side grinds . I've been thinking a lot about front side disasters. I also need to get my rock n roll back again. Any goals for you?

There's no way I could ever skate those hard of wheels. 92-97a works great in pools usually.

Much beer, I agree now but several years ago I didn't.

From one gear head to another - At the end of it, everything is pretty much the same. I rather put the focus on the progress of my skating (44 y/o here) than try every single new/old product there is on the market..:)

I’ve been skating 58mm dragons for 1 1/2 years. I just recently purchased a set of 64mm based on your recommendation. I love them. They’re noticeably faster than the 58’s

Oh man, I'm so glad to hear you say that. Size really does matter for speed.

I can definitely see a speed difference in your riding with dragons and your carving looked smoother. Be careful of the water that's how I slipped and broke my shoulder

Yup I agree, your stinger and dragon set up is really nice. Looks fire and performs great. Now grow some roots on it 🤙 Btw Killian has good style, smooth skater. That front side will come in time. I wish I had started at his age, keep it up Killian! 🤙
