This is an excellent band…particularly Dana Strum and Mark wrote some excellent songs and that’s what’s important.

Of all the bands from the 80s that are still touring, Slaughter absolutely sounds the best!! Hands down, I would them up against anyone. I was fan bk in tge day, but I never dreamed they'd be sounding this good a little over 30 years later. Great job guys, Dana Strum, the forever hidden hero of blessing us with his musical foresight.

Mark is using backing tracks for his vocals. He started doing it a few years ago. Go back and watch a show from 2017 or so. He does not sound nearly as good as he does here.

Mark could easily handle the Crue stuff even still today, Nikki should get in touch and see if he wants to fill in for Vince, because Vince is an absolute caricature of himself.

You might hold on the insults and be a little more humble until you are up there doing it….why don’t you ask Mark & Dana to try you out and see how it goes. It’s one thing to think you are good and another to deliver on stage with tone, backing vocals and to entertain.

@Rectifier's Guitar & Philosophy I never said I was as good or could do better but I am not trying to be the guitarist for slaughter.i have nothing against blando and I have heard him sound really good but he really sounds bad here.

@@evilbrad3 I was a little harsh, so for that I apologize. I don’t know Blando from a crawfish in Louisiana - nor do I have any need to hear him play guitar and nor do I care if he is good or not - I do like the songs Slaughter put forth though. Those are well written songs. All of us could be a bit more understanding and forgiving from behind the keyboard as it relates to others’ performances…it ain’t easy to git up there and git r done. As an unknown player, I have had horrible nights and others where I felt like King Kong. We are all cut from the same cloth…..I say give some slack

@joerectifier, Mark has problems with live singing for years, he needs to come down an octive, or two, n not sing the high end songs. Michael Sweet from Stryper has and they sound great. Slaughter is great, but Mark is hurting himself and the performance. Aging is a bitch...and vocals are a skill n tool, you gotta keep practicing. These small tours they do isn't enough to keep him sounding good...cuz he isn't truly practicing. Mika from Steelheart was a king and now he struggles n he keeps practicing....the late 80's produced a lot of great music...but age is a killer... especially for this genre of music.

Mark’s voice is so shot he can sing low then there’s nothing and he has one high note. His chest voice is gone.
