Slave has so many number one songs that I'm surprised that they don't have as many reaction videos. Most of the members were only fifteen through seventeen years old when they had their first number one song " Slide". They were so talented that they eventually had to split up into three groups. Check out Aurra " Are you single". It was four original members of Slave that left in 1981. Other members went on to join Mtume and made the song " Juice fruit" The rest of Slave continued to make classic hits as far as the late eighties. They influenced everyone today and samples were used by Dr Dre, Snoop, Pharrell, E-40, Tupac, Too Short, Puff Daddy Jay-Z, Atlanta rappers, Houston rappers and so on and so on . Too many to mention.

All time classic jam! The very unique vocal stylings of Steve Arrington along with an incredible band. Snoop Dogg has 2 songs that sample this song, "Gin & Juice" and "Let's Get Blown." I highly recommend Slave's song "Just a Touch of Love."

Keith Sweat was often compared with Steve Arrington in terms of having a very similar cadence to their voices. That's probably why Keith Sweat did a remake of a very popular Slave song titled, "Just A Touch of Love", on one of His albums (his sophomore album if I'm not mistaken). On Sweat's album, he just called it "Just A Touch".

I always get a lot of good feeling from your reaction to music that you like, JT. This time it seems like you got out of the normal description of your reaction to the music. I like watching your physical reaction, JT. You've got that touch of comedy that make your videos so entertaining. Especially the synthesizer effect. I can't explain clearly the emotional reaction to musical instruments like Slave uses. All I can call it is that 'Get up and dance' emotion/feeling. I mention it because of the way you moved to the beat, JT. Also the song got you WAY off topic.

Yes! Back when music had bands of talented people who really knew how to sing and play instruments. All the current technology killed that quality. There's no need for bands when all your sounds are electronically produced. The sound of the music these days is different and not in a good way.
