This was originally a video on that I was scheduled to do for my Year 10 class. With recent events including the murder of George Floyd, other reports of police brutality and protests all over the world from the 'Black Lives Matter' movement, I added some thoughts on those issues. This is also in relation to calls for a revised curriculum to ensure Britain's Colonial Past is taught in schools. I must make it clear that this is not an attempt to cover racism in it's entirety. It does not even touch the tip of the iceberg in that respect. My intention was to still use this as an online lesson (it includes an exam question for my students to practise), but open up some discussion as part of PSHE also. Like all my videos, I hope it is of some help to people.
