I worried that this would spoil things before I showed it to my friend, but it's so well edited there's no problems.

This one's on my top 10 list of all-time favorite films. Some of the best dialog in any movie I have ever had the pleasure to watch, I mean, how can you top lines like this: (Andrew): "If I choose to say that my wife converses like a child of six, and makes love like an extinct shellfish, I shall!!!" 2 powerhouse performances, and I also count the house/grounds a character as well. An amazing, unbelievably great film. I covet my DVD, which I just watched yesterday.

This film and "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" proved that it doesn't take a huge cast to make an incredible movie; no special effects, no 3D either.. What has happened to films!?

@Toonamik In my opinion the older version produced some of the best acting within the last half of the 20th century. It's quite extraordinary anyone could view Mr. Olivier's and Caine's acting as anything other than magnificent.

Not easy to do a trailer for a film with as many twists and turns as Sleuth, but this does a good job of selling it without giving much away.

Nice trailer, sounds like a good idea for a film. I might see it. It's got Caine as the young guy and Olivier as the old guy. I wanna see this, but my decision hinges on who plays the part of the guy at 0:45. The trailer doesn't show his name in teal coloured font like the other actors get. Meh, I don't think I'll risk it, it's probably some nobody...
