Slide played a Bach 36B which is a medium bore (.525) horn for a while before moving to larger bore horn and mouthpiece. I’m sorry I don’t remember what mouthpiece he used on the 36B but from the picture it doesn’t look overly large. It wouldn’t surprise me if it were a 6 1/2 AL . I really love his playing on that horn

Slide played many horns and bores over the decades, including Bach 36 (I’ve never seen him w 36B w Fattachment), Getzen Dude…but I think this picture is his long-standing King 4B rather than a 3B.
