@@ronaaron6935 You should do a proper video tutorial for 8th with everything it can do in 2023. I don't understand why language designers of esoteric languages do not try to make actual in depth video tours of all the language features so people discover the language also on youtube.

Great overview! Suggestion: it would be great to have some code examples for every language, e.g. as you’ve mentioned awk is expressive, but it means nothing to those who aren’t familiar with the language ☝🏻

Thanks fo the suggestion! I've considered this too, but the extra work of producing and editing the video is probably overwhelming. In the individual Brief Introduction videos, Erik goes into much more depth with code examples, etc, and these have been really popular, so hopefully he'll get to an AWK one soon.

@@exercism_org It wasn’t a request for introduction video on a particular language (though Erik’s briefs on Julia, R & Prolog rocks) :-)
