If you hate a character so much that you're glad when they die, then the actor must have done a phenomenal job. Dwight Yoakam was every bit as good as Billy Bob (who was tremendous in his own right.) Just a great film all around.

It's almost as if Doyle knew that Karl was serious. As soon as Karl told him what he planned, Doyle told him how to dial the police. Doyle even instructed him on how to request an ambulance or a Hearst. I think Doyle was a tortured man who wanted to die so I believe he knew that Karl was serious about killing him.

Ugh, I hate the sound effects in this scene. They sound just like something from some cheesy slasher movie. This movie deserved so much better. The Foley editor should have recorded someone hitting a dead pig or sheep in the skull with a machete.

Ol' Doyle had that coming. Self righteous, a prick, cutting people down and I'm guessing Linda was too scared not to let him back in her life. Sad to think there are people abusive like this. The band scene not shown in this clip shows Doyle being a jerk to the band guys, they walk off scared of him, that scene I always wondered why one of those other guys didn't just lay all into him and beat him to a pulp, but I guess since he supposedly knew the law well, they had no case against him.

Yep- Vaughn and Albert Marry. Scooter hooks up with Linda. Karl Kills Mr. Mercury then escapes the nervous hospital. Potted meat goes on sale. Frankie joins Bill Coxs outfit. Karl is found not guilty and married Malinda. They have a child that weren't no bigger than a squirrel.
