Your enjoyment and producing skills know no bounds. This album has always been a tonality masterpiece to me and I’m glad you bring up the points that made me appreciate their grooves so much. It helps us ear-musicians really connect with the WHYS and HOWS. Jim and Mick really have their regimen and tone dialed up to 11 so their sound is SUPER tight. And the audio clip with zero reverb..just *chef’s kiss…. then they throw in those off-camber octaves. I get chills on this album everytime. That low flat sound. Such bass and head-banging intensity, sounds great everywhere

As another “farts dust, old guy, loves guitar😂”, I think it’s all just expression. If you’re still carrying angst, it’s just another color of sound, another attitude, a different color crayon. I grew up with 70’s Rock, but dig lots of “heavy” music. See ya in the pit!

Was at Jones Beach ,NY when they were touring for this album - knew absolutely 0 about the band and just went cuz a few of my friends were going and figured it'd be fun... Lights went dark before they took the stage - then everyone went nuts and it was just like a jet engine on full afterburner right in your face the whole time.. What a performance. Been a fan since - the recordings are great, but the full effect was their live performance at their peak.
