I was at Beavertail at Veteran's Day weekend. 3 of us caught 2 fish and 1 of them was keeper. Man... I wish I was there few weeks earlier. Thank you for sharing nice fishing video.

I dont think there's anything wrong with keeping fish within the regulations, but I prefer to let the big ones go so they can breed. The bigger fish are going to have more eggs and bigger fish genetics. Plus the smaller/mid size fish taste better in my opinion.

@@BrianLi-u1h This isn't one of the spots I like to share. All I can tell you is that its much more rewarding to go hunt around by yourself and find a spot like this that holds these types of fish.

Nice. Fished my whole life and just got into jetty blackfish, I love it! You should look into a folding bump board to measure. Fits right in the bucket.

Jetty blackfishing is so addicting. Can be so frustrating getting hung up, but it's definitely worth it. I actually built another rod for myself, and I made the thread wrap pattern measure out to exactly 1 inch spacing. So I just use the rod as a ruler now.

I didn't know you can still catch tog from shore in November with recent cold air. Cool. Is that Newport?
@weekendwarriorfishing
5 жыл бұрын
I didnt know either. The water temps were still around mid to low 50's after the few cold days so I figured the bite should still be good. And yes, its in that general area.

Sorry Kenny I can't give out the exact location to this place. Plus its a fairly difficult walk because there's tons of big slippery rocks. If your son is young, it wouldn't be a good place to go. Places like Fort Adams Park are much better.
