This video is so cozy. It reminds me of hanging out on my friend's property as a kid. His grandpa would cook us stuff like this before we went camping 20 acres out near the woods. We'd take the ATV out there and tear up the woods. Thanks for reviving those memories.

I'm cooking that! You know, these videos make me wish for a life choice redo. I wouldn't trade my military service for anything, but once I was back home I should've headed straight to the open prairie country and started on as a ranch hand somewhere, anywhere! I've spent to many days/years in a factory breathing in who knows what, not to mention what I was breathing in during my service time, when I could've been breathing in God's fresh open air! Thank you for these inspirational videos!

My kids would devour that pan of sloppy Joe's. While camping every year, their huge normal appetites would grow double. That would just cover my family. Cooking on the open fire with my cast iron was a big draw. People came by everyday to see "what the good smells were". I think I was the only person who cooked on the campfire in the whole campgrounds.

Kent is my absolute hero and I know he knows absolutely everything, but I know those are going to be some super soggy sloppy joes. My recommendation would be just pack it hot in a Tupperware, put it in the yeti, spoon, buns on the side, assemble in the field for freshness 🤘🏼

Well.... there is probably some tomato in the bbq sauce. Close but definitely not the same. I want to try his version. I grew up eating them made with ketchup, mustard, a little bit of horsey sauce if we had it, and Campbell's chicken gumbo soup. I'm 43 and still make it every couple of months.
