In this tutorial I will show you how to use your scrap fabric to put together a slow stitched picture of a little robin. He's sitting on a mossy topped fence post because I loved stitching the moss when I did the wren page a couple of weeks ago. I also painted the background first using my Inktense blocks so he showed up nicely on a green background. You could use acrylic paint instead though with no problem.
This is all very easy stitching as there are only straight stitches used in this whole piece of work. You might already have some fabric in your stash that you can use... I hope you'll have a go.....
