My mother was a sewest, my father loved opera and classical music, also folk music. I grew up listening to it all at a deafening level, and loving every minute. I learned stitching through osmosis, and also loved to disappear where I couldn’t be found. Loved to read and absorbed every word available on me. Great background for an artistic adult. Don’t get me wrong.. starving was not fun. And I still struggle with weight issues due to malnutrition…. I learned to cook as a 5 yr old, to feed myself..I remember trying to feed my feed my baby sister.. which did not go well.. but I was totally free range until my mother figured out she could put me to work… but I do give thanks for those early years when I had freedom in the summer moths.

AhHa! I thought you'd say Italian Opera for your fave…I was close. Sometimes I listen to music while creating, sometimes it's too distracting. My fave is the old Simon and Garfunkel from the 60s bc they tell stories then instrumental classical, ensembles or just harp, or just violin. Right now my favorite poet is Morgan Harper Nichols as she reads her poetry and thoughts on her podcast…so thought evoking and also she has a very calming voice. I will look for Mary Oliver !! Thanks for taking time to answer my questions. Love your tea bundles. I wasn't getting dark marks on my tea dye. Your statement about dunk and drape over to let dry, might be the solution to the problem. I’m using three bags to just one cup of water. What is your tea to water ratio? Maybe I can improve mine? Love your stitching today. Your compositions were lovely. You two take care. Sending ❤️😘 C4N.

I don’t rinse them and I don’t have mold issues.. I often dry them outside, if you want to rush the process use a hairdryer…

The worst job I ever had was waitressing, too. The funny thing is that I really like people, so I figured it would be perfect for me. It was awful! It was so bad that I even had nightmares about it.
