This Step by Step Small Animal Hammock DIY is not as hard to make as it seems. My ferrets love the teepee style hammock. They got in it before I could even get it fully hung in their cage. MATERIALS USED IN THIS TUTORIAL (see links below)
- Sewing Machine
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Pen
- clips or pins
- Fusible Fleece Pellon Thermo 971
- Batting (optional, can be used in place of fusible fleece)
Measurements of the bed in the video:
Finished Hammock: 17” (H) x 10” round
Cone Template: 21.5” (H) x 22” (W)
Bottom Circle: 11”
(Sizes are approximate)
***Important Information***
The base of the cone shape should be the same size as the bottom circles. If they are not the same the hammock will not go together correctly..
