Listening to a local FM broadcast using the HackRF. Demonstrating the extreme directionality of the mag loop. Will build more, just need more trimmer capacitors.
I did some messing around with the "66pacific.com" calculator and it looks like a circumference of 2 ft. of .325 (3/8) copper tubing for 98 Mhz. using a variable capacitor from 10-25 Pf. should get you in the ballpark. :) A fella could mess with a toroid and adjust the windings to get the best receive level or better to use a small coupling loop 1/5 the size of the 2 ft. loop. The small loop should have a circumference of 4.8 inches. The largest loop would be 7.64 inches and the efficiency isn't bad at 82%. The MagLoop antenna can surprise a fella how good they are in reception and rejection of noise and stations close to frequency. I've had good luck on the HF bands and thanks for your ideas. :)

It's possible this can be done, because of the inductance and capacitance that helps resonate on VHF-FM frequencies.
