What a fish at the end, for a Lake Erie fish, that was a giant. Great colors on him too, worth the trip. I noticed that this late in the season, even though we get good rain, fish don’t run up the creeks too far, water temps too cold. Mostly down on the lower sections you will find the fresh ones. Farther up, lots of spawned out fish due to the mild temps for December, fish started earlier. Well done, Bill.

Hey Bill, I’m watching your channel for quite a long time pretty much probably since you started it and I’m just a young guy. Well, not that young I guess love your channel love that you took your son out. I did the same thing right from the get-go tell him I use a float reel rate from when he was like five, and he was fishing out like a pro. By time he was six actually was in a magazine, my boy Great Lakes angler you got a monster Brown and a little creek we had here the water was high and fast years ago I said, but we can’t fish here and he said that let’s try and get my gear out of the car and he already yelled fish on and was a 20 pound brown. I love that you take your grandkids too. That’s awesome teaching them that’s a cool thing to see I said love you channel I’m from Canada Ontario just across the pond don’t get the fish much here anymore cause our rivers and creeks are pretty much 90% angle deep anymore so it’s good to see if at least you guys got water to fish and I’m terminally ill now so it makes a little hard for me to go but yeah love your channel. Keep up the good work.

Really really enjoyed this one Bill, that was an amazing buck! Struggled mightily on a major PA trib today going 1/2, been such a miserable season with the low water for us. Hoping we’ll get some water like this vid soon. Ps, loved watching the bills clap the cowboys today, really hope they can sneak in with as well as they’ve been playing. My SST (cork handle) got brittle and broke after a year. I do keep it in my vehicle most of the season but I do that with all my rods and it's usually not an issue with rods in that price range. I've had good rods and reels from Okuma in the past, but the SST was not strong enough to handle my style. I recently purchased a G-Loomis to replace it.
