Your own private paragliding spot. This is awesome. Now work it to find thermals and go XC from there :p

Why not a cobra-start? Was the wind not strong enough? - In such lunches I prefare it to start out of a rosette or bette out of the cell-to-cell-package. You need a very small area and can start very easy over one ear. But it has to train in groundhandlings till it is a routine. - Very fine video and it shows the passion to fly.... Warm greatings from Joerg Hausbrand (Heidenau i. Saxony/East-Germany)

Thank you for the comment Jörg. Yes, the wind was just not strong enough to try cobra, it was difficult to keep wing over my had for few seconds to stabilise it before takeoff

One of the highest line consumption mini wings of all time. Try a susi 3! Much easier :)

True, true. Not the newest design 🤣 If I was choosing new, I would definitely go for SuSi

A helmet cam is a guaranteed way to get line entanglement and a future crash. Smooth helmet is what pilots use, ego-flyers use helmet cams. Pilots live long and prosper, flyers crash and stop. You are on notice, ditch the ego-helmet cam. And wouldn't it have made sense to practice on grass rather than thrash your wing on rocks/bushes? Respect your equipment! Yikes

The only guaranteed things are taxes and death. I don't have the privilege of having grassy Alpen style takeoffs here as I would love to.

This is exactly what wings are made for. Being able to fly from places others can't. Being able to go to that one hill within 100miles and have the skills to control it like he did. 99% of "pilots" don't have anywhere near the ground handling control he has. If you do things like this you know it will get damaged, but it is always worth it once you get it right. The wing can be repaired and untimely replaced after so long.
