is there any way that this level of control could be opened to the player? Like, they could make a waypoint in a planning stage of a game? Thanks for all your time and tutorials, i'm learning a ton!

I don't see why not. Of course you'd need to assign that semantic meaning to the points specific to your game/ code base.

He man, good stuff. Just curious, why not use Path2D? I assume this is just mainly to demonstrate tool possibilities?

using path2d just saves all the code here and reduces it to 2 lines and it can also be set on tool

24:00 the mentioned link isnt in the discription ;-) woud be nice to see that Edit: when i instanciate the waypoints scene, i didnt get that dropdown arrow to get acces to the startpoint. in the video i can see it. i checked the code whit your surce code and didnt find anyting there, what did i miss? Edit2: i tested the platform in my project whit a workarround and noticed, that my playercharacter "gliches" arround while pushed upwards by the platform. he didnt detect on_floor properly, but thats while upwarts movement of the platform. strange :|

Don't know if still relevant, but you should enable Sync To Physics on the moving platform
