Really love the look of the 2213, it looks so futuristic, even 30 years after it was introduced!

I bought one of the 2213s when they came out, and I've shot quite a bit of ammo through it. 100% reliable, fun, and handy. Plenty accurate up to 20 yards or so. For stealth shooting, even shoots the Colibri primer-powered ammo well, but doesn't cycle of course.

Just came across your video. Nicely done. Happy to hear that ten round 422 mags will work in a 2214. I have a 6" black 422 field model like yours and may be getting a 2214 model (fingers crossed). I bought the 422 new when they first came out. Totally reliable and still incredibly accurate even after having 100s of 1000s of rounds put through it. It came with two 12 round mags and over the years I've managed to find six more. They fit nicely in two military surplus 1911 mag pouches. That's a great loading tool. I'm going to have to check them out. Thanks.

I’ve got a 2214, have added the threaded barrel bushing. It’s a shooter, very accurate. It’s only reliable with hot .22 ammo like Blazer bulk, or premium ammo. Suppressed, it begins to jam after a few mags worth of fouling. It’s not like my Ruger MK II, and MK IV autos, that run flawlessly in filthy condition, with all types of bulk ammo. In my experience, Ruger rimfires are the only ones you can count on. The rest are range toys.

I bought this brand new back in the '80s for $220 I think and it came with a little plastic orange tool that you would use to take the slide off but I lost that. And I can't find new magazines for the gun

I have a 2214 it's just the blued version of the thirteen I first saw both of them when they came out and I liked the looks of them the placement of the barrel was very interesting I liked everything about them but at the time I had a 22lr and I had lost the place I use to shoot at it was my inlaws private property and they had a multitude of land it was once farm property and they bout it in the 50s for very cheap money the town aloud you to shoot on your own property if it had a distance of at least a mile behind them and they where well over that to the point where they actually legally able to dear hunt on there property and it was well posted but my brothers divorce brought and end to that sorry just wanted to make aware of the situation. Back to the pistol I was always sorry I didn't buy it but I forgot about it much later just within the last ten years my father passed he was ex marine but always had and interest in gun he ended up joining a range in the town next to his and had a Hugh collection of mainly pistols my mother hated as part of his estate she wanted them gone they where sold but I ended up on recent disability that became permanent I wasn't happy I liked work but my mother was in here late eighths she was in great shape but never drove and since I know longer had any hold to the city so I came up to the country and after a while of loosing more ability to care for the house and boardum I got back in to target shooting found a range that no membership was required pay by the hour bought a 9 mm and 22lr and looking in a store one day I found the 2214 it was rare for me to see one it was a complete kit mags case holster I had gotten my first can recently and a company ewj made a replacement of the barrel nut with a threaded adaptor and the 2214 was low money in good condition I made sure to purchase the removal tool it was recommended and I see why after 30 years of probably never being removed the nut was almost a percent member of the gun I soaked it multiple times with anti seize over 4 days and even then it wasn't moving I didn't want to damage the gun so I mounted it with towels in my bench vice put the tool in and clamped the back of the pistol and the back of the tool as tight as possible without damaging it the tool had a small turning handle I had a two foot piece of galvanized pipe that fit the handle well and went for my first try and all my weight the pipe moved a little and I heard a slight Crack I suspected that I broke something so I checked all around and no breaks and I could move the handle by hand with strength and finally the nut came of some heavy steel wool and wd I cleaned the corrosion of the fine threads once they looked nice I carefully started threading the adapter on slowly so I didn't cross thread and after I knew I was hand tight and tracking I tightened it the rest of the way with and Allen wrench I ha cleaned and inspected lubed the whole pistol I felt safe I got cci standard velocity went to the range and put 300 rounds thrue it and I was surprised how it performed no misfires or James and it was pretty accurate for a pocket gun I decided to try my silencer on it a I had cci subsonic rounds and you have to wear hearing protection at the range but it was quiet it cycled at home I went deep in a wooded area and tried it with the can no ear protection and its the quiets 22lr suppressed that I've tried just fired into a hill of dirt only 14 rounds but consistently movie quiet Long sermon on a gun that probably isn't all that interesting to most shooters but I'll never part with it keep it lubed fire it once every six months or so suppressed and I still think movie quiet thank you sorry about the punctuation and Tha rambling on I do that when I comment on things I really like.

I've got the same pistol and when I run it suppressed it's got about 10inches of POI shift. Has anyone else run into these issues I wonder if there is a way to remedy them. Unsuppressed it seems to shoot fine very accurate.
