I ordered 3 off brand Fox hatches I stick 90% of the time for 30 feet . I added Paracord for handles instead of beer opener. I got 3 hatchets and 3 knives for $29.00 on eBay and they are sharp.

Thanks I didn't know the top was sharpened. Also it wouldn't be hard to put a riveted wooden handle on one of those. It would probably look pretty good and give a better grip.

I like the JXE JXO Throwing Axes better than the S&W ones. So far I enjoy Throwing them more.

Oh man, you are going to have to wait until Friday. Friday I am posting a video about the JXE JXO Throwing Axes and in the video I compare them to these S&W axes.

@Marc Tull Yeah, I ordered them. So far I have been very happy with JXE JXO products. I should have a video out about the new throwing knives in a week. I hope they are as good as their other ones.

Tell me about your target. What type of wood are you using and how deep are they end grain pieces?
@halfspin
Жыл бұрын
I use lots of different targets. I will try and make a video about the end grain targets I make.

For my end grain target I use pine 4x4's. A 4x4 is really 3.5 x 3.5 so I cut as many 3.5" cubes as I can from a long 4x4. So I end up with 3.5" x 3.5" x 3.5" blocks. Then I use 2x4's to make a frame and a piece of plywood to cover the back. I then cover all backs of the blocks in wood glue and glue them all in.

You can half spin and no spin these! I’ve been using them for 6 months and I’ve only broken one so far.

How did it break? Did it snap? I have been wondering if they will snap eventually. I have a video coming out on the JXE JXO Throwing Axes. They are tougher than these and feel better.

These axes are a POS, garbage. I had so much more hope for SW products. Save your money, buy a good one for $50-80 and get used to walking back and forth a lot. I’d have reviewed it myself by I returned them.
