I've always loved the SD line. Great pistol. It's the only glock clone I've ever liked. But like I'm always complaining about. They cut corners on the recoil spring. The 9mm and the .40 share a spring. For 40 its no big deal. But in 9mm it can causes ejection issues with weakly loaded 9mm. Id bet 90% of SDs that have issues would be resolved with the reduced power recoil spring that is sold online by a few companies. I have to be the only weirdo that actually liked the gen 1 trigger. Once you learn to stage it the pistol is a real tack driver. Great buy SPN.

Please take it from personal experience, don't waste your money on a Kahr firearm. What I'm about to tell you is NOT an exaggeration. I bought a Kahr 9mm. I really liked the way it felt in my hands. I had three mags for it. I couldn't get through 1 mag without 2, 3 or more malfunctions. Kahr said there was a break in period. No problem except I was far past the 250 round break in that Kahr recommended. I polished the feed ramp and got it to run a mag or two, but then right back to jamming up. I traded it for a Springfield XDM in 45acp at the same shop I bought the Kahr from. I don't, nor will I ever own a Kahr firearm. Just thought I'd share my experience with Kahr.

Had the new Gen 4 DB380, 3 trips back to the factory they gave me a refund on the 4th trip. I loved everything about it except for it being unreliable. I really wanted it to work out and believe me I tried. Had it been reliable I'd say it's what the Glock 42 should have been. I now have the LCP I should have gotten in the first place. How the DB380 costs more than the original LCP right now is beyond me.
@chrisp1601
4 ай бұрын
@@magnum_0710 that’s really upsetting because the DB380 is lighter and smaller than the LCP, it’s almost like a 32ACP. How heavy was the recoil spring compared to the LCP? The DB9 recoil spring is heavy “for reasons” but I was hoping the DB380 was lighter. The LCP is cheap because Ruger is trying to get rid of inventory, once it’s gone it will be discontinued like the LCP 2. I like the LCP Max but I like the thinner grip.
@magnum_0710
4 ай бұрын
@chrisp1601 the recoil spring is different but I wouldn't say heavier, listen I loved everything about the DB380 and I tried everything I could to make it work. I spent enough money on ammo to buy 2 LCPs and that's not including what I paid for it originally. Neither I or Diamondback could get it to work. I had the Gen 3 first, trigger bar bent after 300 rounds, they sent it back but it looked like the bent part was cut off. When I asked about it they decided to replace it with the Gen 4. Surprisingly the Gen 3 was more reliable even the Gen 4 was supposed to be the more reliable version
