@nw Nope, he was just spitting cold facts, and there is nothing narcissistic about it. All those psychedelic experiences produced by some external elements found in nature are temporary, and one can't stay connected to that higher realm of consciousness produced by those psychedelic substances for a longer period of time. Whereas, 'real' yogis can, at will, enter into that state of consciousness through meditation, not by those external substances. Of course, I am not trying to disrespect anyone's culture. In fact, in India, there are lots of sadhus who are in the preliminary stage of their spiritual journey take substances like Ganja or Datura to see beforehand the destination they want to reach after their spiritual journey ends. But the fact of the matter is that psychedelic drugs are the shortcut to the state that yogis have to reach through years of meditation (Raja Yoga) or devotional practices (Bhakti Yoga) etc. and those who take those drugs can only stay in that state as long as there is the effect of that particular drug.

Before getting into meditation, i had experimented pretty extensively with a variety of different psychedelics including nn dmt, but never 5 meo dmt. My experiences in meditation would eventually lead to immersion within a light, that to my understanding, was pure consciousness itself. My practice was basically a process of redirecting my attention inwardly into my own conscious awareness, which over time eliminated any "noise", as all mental energies were directed inward, this suffocates other experiences. This creates a oneness as the subject observing (my consciousness) and the object observed (also my consciousness) becomes one. The psychedelics ive tried never brought me that far, and only remained in a visionary state of separation, where i was an observer experiencing an environment distinct from my consciousness and filled with other intelligences. I have heard though that 5 meo dmt brings one to the oneness state. This has always interested me.

It is common knowledge in India that a lot of sadhus are just show and no substance. Westerners see the garb and assume that everyone sitting cross legged with unshorn hair has gone beyond. Most never will even if they tread the path. Not everyone on the path is a YOGI, yogi is one who's transcended the need to put on a garb to facilitate innate hollowness.

It wasn't. He was clarity and saw where the Instability in the circle was entering. Dakota was actually the bomb waiting to go off. The holy clown reflected his fear back at him. Projections happen but you're not seeing it happening here how you meant it. THAT is a projection. Projecting that just because you can't see, nobody else can. And you don't even realise you're doing it. Still. I sincerely respect you all for your roles in the process. All we each have is our integrity no matter where we find ourselves. If you lose that, you become a danger to those around you. The man became wild and restored order through reflection. In order to do this you need clarity. In order to have clarity you need to be without fear. Then you have the power to act in integrity. This was a natural act and beyond anyone's judgement of good and bad it's irrelevant.
