Film about the Music Talent Center made by Ida Benkert Holtet / Velux Foundation
"The sound of the Snetberger School" is the sound of hardworking students everywhere, orchestras and bands, learning-playing-practicing-studying-playing-experimenting-laughing from early morning till late evening, doing what they are doing because their talent and passion in music do not allow them to do differently. The sound and the spirit of the Snetberger Music Talent Center move everybody up, everybody who meet the kids and the youngsters of this Center, I think.”

The Foundation provides the unique opportunity for 60-65 underprivileged, exceptionally talented in music young Roma and non-Roma youngsters for receiving a 12 week in a year long program of personalized individual and orchestral training in jazz and classical music.
“I would not say that I am the most proud of a one specific person, because here the multitude of individual fates creates the feeling of community and experience of unity. This is a place where we become each other's family in music, we learn from each other. FOR US MUSIC IS THE MOST IMPORTANT, music binds us together, music is the source of love and joy. Music lifts us together up.
What only counts is: Music above all.”
