I like this tutorial, I’ve made a few- Thank you Lexy!! Only thing I want to add is that it’s always better to use clips instead of pins when using PUL fabric (or any other laminated fabrics). Pins are fine in the seam allowance, but once you put a hole in the laminate it stays there, meaning the waterproof layer is compromised. Obviously, sewing a 100% waterproof bag that’s also 100% food-safe is pretty much impossible, but keeping pins away does really help. Thanks again, Lexy, I love this pattern!!

Hi I know you said a measurement but I don’t know if that’s the bag when finished or the fabric?

Not all PUL (Polyurethane Laminate) is food safe. Sewers must do their homework before using this product for items that will come in contact with food.

Would this also be machine washable?

Sorry for the late reply! Yes, they are machine washable. I dry mine as well...but fabric softener might make them a bit too fragrant if you are using them for loose snacks.
