The chicken snack was definitely expensive compared to other things you've bought in Thailand, but for solid meat in a shelf-stable packet it still looks like pretty good value.

@@drizztdourden666 you’ve seen nothing. My Chinese friend brought a chicken feet (boneless) just like the one in the video. And the other time she brought a palm sized fish (with bone and everything). All packaged just like the video. All of them feel fresh and no funky smell weirdly enough and believe me when I say they’re delicious.

Sure but no way would I use the pack it comes with. Who knows what the chemical reaction is, and any gasses it may be spewing all over your food. I’d just add boiling water to the mofo and wait a few minutes. It looked good

Wowiee Honestly, I am always curious about the Korean, Japanese and Chinese convenience stores. They are so creative and the food packaging is so alluring! I bet the food tastes good too🎊 I love these videos. Hopefully, I can visit these countries in future!!

These food are good for camping trip or for military MRE meal ready to eat. You’d want variety in certain situation, and of course they must be well preserved.

Actually heatpacks were invented in the 90s by the US army to replace the aspid stoves and flammable dry/gel glycol tablets in the MREs. It's nothing new, but having access to flameless hot-pots anywhere is a great idea!

@@katienovota8870 Nope, it's hard to explain. Its taste and scent are not that strong but it kind of refreshing. (The grass that was used to make jelly is from the same family with mint.)

For the self heating pot, it is recommended that u put the layer with the food and and cover on as soon as possible (before the heating pad starts boiling) as it is very dangerous to fiddle with it once it starts boiling (which takes abt 10ish seconds) the preparation in this video could potentially cause others to follow and hurt themselves.

One of my local Chinese store used to sells some self heating noodles. It looks very good on the packaging, but I didn’t l buy it, due to it being like $14 USD. I actually went back the other day, but I can’t find it anywhere. My guess is that because of the price, nobody was buying it, so they just took them off the shelves.

Yup, and it located in the middle of Yaowarat. Not sure if it was already there since pre-Covid, but the first time I saw this store is probably a several months ago when I visited Yaowarat once in a while. (which I also quite surprised when I saw it)
